The primary difficulty on Dragons Over Kabul was transforming live-action plates filmed in Hungary into convincing, real-world locations in Kabul, including matching the exact layout of the actual airport. The production required massive set extensions, dense crowds, military vehicles, aircraft, and atmospheric dust layers that had to seamlessly integrate with practical foreground talent and set pieces without breaking the illusion of a single, continuous physical space.

To bridge the gap between the local shoot and the real location, our team built highly accurate 3D environment extensions and asset passes modeled directly after real-world airport and city geography. We integrated dynamic 3D crowd systems, heavy CG atmospheric passes, and detailed digital military assets into the practical plates. By precisely matching camera tracks, lighting, and environmental dust to the original footage, we achieved a seamless blend between the physical sets and our digital environment builds.
